Responsibilities:

• Managed the movement of tech equipment to competition sites, including the set-up and strike of the stage.

• Led pre-show checks of lighting instruments and equipment.

• Collaborated with other designers to coordinate lighting effects with sound and set design.

• Managed communication between cast, crew, and the production team.

• Created and maintained rehearsal schedules, cue sheets, and reports.

• Called lighting, sound, and set change cues during performances.

• Ensured the smooth execution of transitions between scenes.

Key Achievements:

• Successfully transported the show to and from five different venues.

• Qualified for the Area Competition.

• Won individual tech awards at every competition, including one Best Technician Award and two Honorable Mention Technician Awards.

• Developed a tech setup that was portable and could be reliably set up and torn down in under 4 minutes.

Equipment Used/Files Created:

• Used an ETC Colorsource 20 Light Board as a mobile board for the show.

• Set up a portable speaker system at all sites.

• Operated two fog machines on an ETC SmartFade board.
